Kaci Mial has always been passionate about helping others and making a difference. She recently graduated from Widener University with a Master’s Degree in Human Sexuality Education, is currently conducting qualitative sexuality research, and facilitating infant massage workshops for parents in her community.
In Kaci’s free time, she is hosting trainings at international conferences, agencies, schools, universities, and residential programs. Kaci successfully applies a trauma informed, sex-positive, and medically accurate approach to a variety of topics in mental and sexual health. As a health educator at Planned Parenthood of Southern New Jersey, she served as an advocate during community events and promoted services for the clinic and education department.
Kaci has worked with diverse populations including individuals, families, and groups of various ages and demographics impacted by: mental/physical disabilities, interpersonal violence, trauma, delinquency, HIV/STI’s, substance abuse, poverty, and a number of other health, social, economic, and educational factors. Additionally, Kaci has worked with teenage mothers/fathers, an indigenous population in Huehuetla, Mexico, families of women incarcerated in the Philadelphia Prison System, and the LGBT population.
Kaci was featured by Rutgers University for being an outstanding alumna and publishing her first research article during her undergraduate studies. Kaci graduated with Latin honors and received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a Women and Gender Studies minor from Rutgers-Camden University.
